Today’s release of redsn0w 0.9.10b5 addresses any DRM iBooks issues that you may have been experiencing on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch. Reports show, some users have been running into problems with the Digital Rights Management when viewing DRM protected books. Sunday we’ve seen Pod2G tweet
“Hi, I heard some great news from IRC. @planetbeing has fixed Corona issues with iBooks DRMd books. Corona 1.0.6 to be released soon.”
So although developers are working on the next version of Corona, 1.0.6 which we’ll soon see in Cydia, you can now grab this new version of Redsn0w and to address this issue.
If you’re already jailbroken, you can simply run this version of redsn0w ontop of your current installation, however make sure you uncheck the “install cydia box”
Redsn0w 0.9.10b5 comes in both flavors Windows and Mac OS X, and supports the iPhone 4, iPod Touch 4G, and the iPad 1.
