We just picked up our new iPad Minis today, along with one of the new fancy smart covers. And let me tell you this thing feels like a piece of junk.
The cover comes in many new pretty colors, but is very flimsy as hell compared to what came with the iPad 2. The new extension between the magnetic hinge makes the cover move all over the place.
When flipping it to the back side of the Mini, you can see clearly that its not centred at all.
This is because of this new extension. I really don’t like this, it feels like it going to slide off and makes holding the new Mini unconformable. Let me show you what I mean with this quick video I’ve made.
