@Musclenerd lists devices supported in the next iOS 6.1 jailbreak

We just got word a few minutes ago from @musclenerd about all the devices that will be supported by the next iOS jailbreak tool.

This is one of the most anticipated jailbreaks since the iPhone 2G has arrived.

Why ?

Well, a few reasons. First, the jailbreak community has been growing a bit stale over the past 6 months. With no jailbreak tools released since 8 months ago, jailbreakers around the world have either been: stuck on an older iOS release to preserve their jailbreak capabilities, or have updated and lost their untethered jailbreak entirely.

But that’s about to change for everyone. Not only are we expecting a jailbreak release very soon, this will be the biggest jump in the amount of jailbreak users in history. When the jailbreak flood gate will open, you will see a whole slew of new devices joining the jailbreak game for the first time. And with 20 million devices active in just the last 3 months in cydia, you can image what that number might grow to.

We’re all very excited !

A few hours ago we got an update from @mulscenerd from the twitterverse.

“Yes, every … 6.1 device variation will be supported. All TWENTY-TWO of them (omg!). Plus atv2 if it’s out in time…”

So without further delay, here is the list of all the devices that will be supported by the next jailbreak tool :

- iPhone 5
- iPhone 4S
- iPhone 4
- iPhone 3GS

- iPad mini
- iPad 4 Retina
- iPad 3 Retina
- iPad 2

- iPod Touch 4G
- iPod Touch 5G

- Apple TV 2G ( if released in time )

Stay tuned, and we’ll keep you updated on the tools as they get released.
