How to get TV out using $5 cables vs Apples $50 cable

Not many people know, but you can play video’s on your TV from your iDevice!!

That’s right….Apple want you to pay $50 for one of there cables, but we are going to show and tell you that you don’t have to spend out all of that money….

There are many accessories out there that allow you to play video with iPods,but when you plug it into your TV, you will normally get a message saying..”This accessory is unsupported” and will refuse to play it!! …up until now!!!

Yes, you have guessed it..there is a Jailbreak tweak for this!!

Resupported 4+ is a safe and cheap alternative to paying the high price from Apple,it enables video out through many unsupported AV cables, which are around $5 +.

Here is how you can achieve this….

• Head over to Cydia, search ” Resupported 4+” & Install – This will cost you $3.99, but you do get a 10 day FREE trail!! so after those 10 days, if you don’t want it, you can just un-install it,but trust me, you wont want to.

Once you Device has resprung, there will be NO new icons added to your springboard, it is all done and ready for you to use straight away.

So go ahead to plug your Device into your TV using a cheaper alternative lead to Apples!

Now, let’s talk about another tweak like the one we have just been talking about, this one is different in a few ways and its FREE!!

TVOutTuner (TVOut2 Mirror) is compatible with both iOS4 and iOS5, same rules apply here, where you don’t have to go out and spend a fortune on a certain Apple cable.You can display in portrait and Landscape mode and pretty much display anything that’s on your iDevice on your TV.

This app actually downloads a new icon which has settings you can choose from when you want to use it.(which is different from the above tweak)

Right, Let’s get you guy’s sorted on this one aswell…

• Head to Cydia,search “TVOut2″ & Install

• Once your device has resprung, you will now see a new icon that has been added to your springboard.

• Now you can go ahead and tap it….and it will open up and you will see lots of different options! (don’t panic)here you can choose what ever you are going to be doing…ie; gaming mode,video etc etc

All you need to do now, is select the mode and any other options you need and plug your iDevice into your TV, and hey presto!!! Job done.

I don’t have a favourite as such, I like both of these cool Tweaks/apps, but obviously one if FREE and one is not…..
