Apple has been improving the way they handle camera shortcuts since iOS 5 has arrived.

We first started with the double tab for camera button which greatly improved our camera launch time, and now we’re onto even faster methods seen in iOS 5, such us as the swipe.

However since there is no untethered jailbreak for 5.1 out there many of the users in the jailbreak community have decided not to upgrade and hold off until a jailbreak is released.  So are we missing much from 5.1 ?
